Ever heard of a yurt?

No, neither had I until about a week ago. It’s a Mongolian tent, and is part of a “glamping” or glamorous camping craze that’s about to sweep the country! We stayed in a carved yurt in the middle of Pembrokeshire, with barbies and great views, close to the coast and other local attractions. The carved bit is the wooden infrastructure, around which the canvass is tied with rope.It looks like a marquee, with a hobbit sized door that you need to duck down quite low to get through, otherwise you get a nasty bump. It was surpeisingly spacious, with water and gas laid on to a sink and hob in the front part of the yurt, sleeping quarters to the rear on a fold out sofa bed. All in all, great fun, great location, check out Tir Bach Farm, middle of nowhere, glorious hillside valley location.
